PROJECT 3 - STEP 3 ( FINAL PRESENTATION )

Step 3 is the final part of the whole project. In this final part is to organized your design into a presentation boards. This boards required 6 boards to show your idea of design. In this 6 boards, you have to include the killer image of your design, anthropometry, elements, plan, 2 sections, front & rear elevation of your design, 3D exterior & interior drawing of your model & pictures of your model.

BOARD 6

In my design, i created 3 spaces for diffrent reading posture. There are 3 spaces with different size : smallest ( open space ), bigger ( semi - opened space ) & the biggest space ( enclosed place ).
The space were linked by stairs and the form of the space is in a spiral form, this is to show the movement of the space from one space to another and also to so the principal of linear. In space 2, Columns are used to surround the space for an enclosed space and the spaced located outside is totally opened so the person able to choose to read inside a space ( more private ) or to read outside the space ( more freedom ).
Space 3 were also surrounded by columns for a more safety purposes and at the same time is to make the space more enclosed. Void are available so that the space will not feel so rigid and the individual able to read in a more freedom mode and flexible.

PROJECT 3 - STEP 2 ( IDEA BOARD )

In second steps, An idea board is REQUIRED to  produced to show your IDEA OF DESIGN OF A SAPCE based on your activity.
Basically is to show how you ORGANISE your ELEMENTS into spaces which suit your activity and the design is suitable for your ACTIVITY and is ANTHROPOMETRY.
Concept of spaces is required so that it able to show a clearly idea of your space.

The concept that i choosed os CLEAR YOUR MIND. My idea of space is basically to let an individual able to clear his mind when entering this space so that he can concentrate is reading and without any distraction.
Curve element are brought over from project 2 so that is shows linkage from project 2.

DESIGN PROJECT 3 - PART 1

In this project, the main idea is we have to design a personal minimal place for a particular activity.
First thing we have to do is select one activity which are interesting and carry out research on it. Diffrent posture of reading and ANTHROPOMETRY studies on the reading posture are carried out so that able to understand the quality and requirement for a reading space.
